In 1967 this record disappeared unfinished and its songs circulated as singles through the history of pop.
So the release of "Smile" is similar to a phoenix rising from the ashes. The set contins 5 CDs, 2 LPs, 2 vinyl singles, a book with 60 pages and a poster; all together packed in a giant box with 3D-effect-optic, that shows a shop, that sells only one product: a smile...A festival for the eyes, but especially for the ears, because the 19 "Smile"-tracks are captured in a perfect mono-mix. Other CDs give a deep insight to the evolution of the key songs. But are the many pre-versions of the songs finally interesting - or are they destroying the magic of the finished songs? The answer to that question everyone got to find for himself. There will be the ones who love it and the ones who dislike it. Meanwhile, Brian Wilson has released his own record with versions of his favourite Disney-songs, "In the Key Of Disney".
