The third album is a logical continuation 
of the two previous albums: Joy Denalane imparts pure Soul garnished with a pinch of Modern.
The singer from Berlin devotes herself to very private subjects and grants her fans intimate glimpses – for example on the second track of her long-awaited album MAUREEN “Frei”.

There’s no need for further explanation of what she’s driving at on the second track, or for that matter, on most of the other ones. Just as well that she got back together with Max Herre. Naturally we’re happy about the good news in her private life and won’t comment on it further - except to say the professional cooperation is apparent on the new album. 12 cohesive tracks make the final product an album to be heard straight through from beginning to end.
Also the other tracks on the new album offer everything Joy’s devoted fans could wish for: personality, hope and passion! And a huge portion of Soul, Funk and Motown. The track “Happiness” is sung in English.
