SÖHNE MANNHEIMS ON CASINO BRD TOUR IN NOVEMBER

Initially 7, up to 17, currently at 14 – the number of members in the artist collective surrounding the German R&B and soul singer Xavier Naidoo varies with the passing of time.

Since its inception in 2005, the colorful group developed slowly but surely into a cult band that fills arenas with ease and never fails to impartsoehne mannheims - casino brd tour the euphoric Live-Feeling to its audiences. This year the band concludes its most multifaceted tour project ever. On the road to numerous European cities since March 2011, it’ll climax with 10 dates in Germany. The concert series with the working title “Casino BRD” started on November 10th in Frankfurt and ends - of course - in its own beloved hometown Mannheim on November 25th.

Die Söhne Mannheims (Sons of Mannheim) promise a spectacular, opulent stage show. On a past tour, concert-goers were assigned certain dress codes according to city. The result is attractively packaged on the live DVD “Can You Feel It?” from their last tour.

Apropos live DVD: Everyone who pays a visit to one of the concerts on the Casino BRD Tour 2011 receives a live DVD at the end of the tour by presenting the admission ticket. The live DVD is exclusively for ticket holders - not available through regular ticket outlets.

The first of six albums in total, “Zion”, including its single “Geh davon aus”, was released early in 2000 and sold 500.000 units over the counter. Four years later the album “Noiz” (Zion spelled backwards) followed and was an instant #1 on the album charts. The current masterpiece “Barrikaden von Eden” is stirring up the German album charts since May 13, 2011. It holds 14 new songs about love, tolerance, hate and grievances, God and religion. Complex lyrics and Christianity are typical characteristics of the “sons” from Mannheim. It’s difficult to define the band’s music in one word – no wonder, with 14 talented members. The spectrum ranges between soul, rap, rock and reggae to Christian gospel.
