NEW CLUESO ALBUM “AN UND FÜR SICH” (“IN AND OF ITSELF”)

Some even compare Clueso with the young Udo Lindenberg. His fifth studio album “An Und Für Sich” (“In And Of Itself”) is available at retail since March this year. “An Und Für Sich” is typical Clueso with a few variations.

Clueso, whose alias is drawn from the name of Inspector Clouseau in The Pink Panther film, has been gaining success since 10 years. Clueso enthralls with handmade, honest music – his album “So Sehr Dabei” (“Fully Aware”) was awarded platinum. After two years of production, the current album with its 17 songs was finally released. Prizes like the “1Live-Krone” are just further confirmation to the artist Clueso that he doesn’t have to conform to music trends or anyone else to sell albums. “The song is the boss” says Clueso, and the truth can be heard on the new album.

“An Und Für Sich” is more than just a cute phrase or name for an album. “An Und Für Sich” reflects the music on Clueso’s album – the music stands alone in itself, the music stands for whatever one wants to make of it. The fact that Thomas Huebner writes all lyrics himself can be felt in every verse. The album doesn’t only offer many songs, it offers more – little stories that all have something to do with a part of Clueso’s life. The album title and music should inspire the listener to find his own interpretation of the text and to find himself there. Clueso doesn’t write about tacky dream worlds, he describes his thoughts and feelings about the world.
