The 20-year-old singer will visit nine German cities during her April tour.
Lena herself says, “They’re going to be crazy wonderful Live-Tour-Show-Concerts, with me and hopefully also with you, if you buy tickets! Get going!”
The first opportunity to catch a live concert is on April 13th in Berlin. Thereafter Lena will be in her hometown Hannover and in Frankfurt, Dortmund, Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich and Stuttgart. The tour wraps on April 29th in Cologne.
Besides songs from her last year’s debut album “My Cassette Player”, Lena will present pieces from her new album “Good News”. Such hits as “Bee”, “Love Me”, “Touch a New Day” and of course “Satellite” (winner Eurovision Song Contest 2010) are also on the tour’s song list.
“Kleinstadthelden” (‘Small City Heroes”) is the warmup band of choice for Lena’s tour. The four musicians from Bremen were also competitors in the Bundesvision Song Contest last year. They’ve been giving their own concerts since then but also support other German acts like Silbermond, New Model Army and Revolverheld.
Lena’s contribution for the Eurovision Song Contest will be “Taken By A Stranger”. Her fans chose the song and she’ll defend the German title on May 14th with it in Dusseldorf.
