KYLIE MINOGUE TOUR 2011 - CONCERT IN MUNICH, OLYMPIAHALLE

Kylie is back. Her “Aphrodite – Les Folie Tour 2011” tour arrived in Munich March 5th and performed in the befitting Olympic Arena.

The Showgirl is back: Miss Minogue will give a total of six concerts in Germany, and of course an appearance in Munich had to be one of them. The Grande-Dame of Pop was low-profile for some time, but her sensational Comeback in 2010 makes us quickly forget the long break.

With a gigantic show, completely in gold, Kylie Minogue charmed the entire Munich audience. She flew across the Arena ceiling, made galley slaves sweat, and and and – the complete show was an extravagant spectacle that delighted all senses. Production costs were reported at no less than 14 Million Euro. Of course she also gave her best with her songs.

The petite Australian proved, in the non sold-out show, that she has a first-class voice – especially with the song Slow, which Kylie sang on a kind of devil’s wheel surrounded by her showgirls. Hits like the anthems “Can’t Get You Out of My Head” and “Your Disco Needs You” turned the concert evening into a big party with much on offer for eyes and ears.

Kylie started the evening dressed in gold wearing a winged Asterix helmet, emerging on stage to join her disciples in a temple setting while reclining on a giant gold clamshell throne. Later she rode a golden chariot pulled by muscular centurions. And after many many costume changes (200), she soared over the crowd’s heads on the back of a bare-chested angel – to land on a neon pink-lit helicopter landing pad.

What a Show! Professional and impressive!
